Ever had that classmate that complained after every exam? Well here's my experience with 'wailer Joy'

Joy was a ‘wailer'. People complained but it really wasn't my business, not until Anatomy department struck. We were preparing for an objective type exam. I had put off preparations until 8 days to the exam day. After all it was obj, anything that looked familiar was most likely correct, and dont forget the good ol’ “tumbo tumbo” method. Anyways, class rep appeared three days to the exam, with news of doom, we were having only essay questions. That wasn’t all, it was our oldest enemy, ‘answer all questions'.
Exam day, after soaking my paper with perspiration and chewing a good part of my beloved bic biro cover,

I was convinced we would meet next year.
I met Joy after the exam wailing. Inspite of myself I tried to console her, even told her hers was probably not as bad as mine. As I didn’t answer more than 5 lines in 5 out of 7 questions
‘Your own is good, I forgot my mat number till 2 mins to stop time, I wrote the wrong definition for...’
She went on and on till I was sure that I had an accomplice for the carry over exam.
A week later, results had arrived. I jay walked to the notice board and went straight for the fail list. Double checked, my name wasnt there.
Ah! My village people had lost their mirror. I was last on the pass list 50, close shave. I was about to break into an igbo song when I remembered Joy. Back to fail list, no Joy.
Pass list from bottom...halfway... maybe she had written the wrong mat number. I decided to start from the top . At number 4 was wailer Joy, with a glowing 85! My tongue was paralysed till I got home!
